Jake and Lily by Jerry Spinelli
Grades: 4-6
Twins Jake and Lily have always shared a special connection called
“goombla,” but the summer of their eleventh birthday their relationship
begins to change. Jake becomes friends with a group of local boys, the

This book is about twins who are growing up and growing apart from each other. My favorite character was Lily because throughout the story she needed comfort and a friend to make her feel happy. You should read this book because it shows both sides of the story; Lily’s side and Jake’s side. If you are a twin then this is the book for you.

This book is about twins that grow up to be different people. My favorite character in this book is Lily because she always wants to play with her
ReplyDeletebrother and not be mean to him. I liked this book because it is about twins that like each other but when they grow up they don’t spend that much time together. You should read this book because you might like it if you struggled with a friend.

This book is about two twins called Jake and Lily. My favorite character is Lily because she loves her brother and she always wants to be with him. During this book Lily is trying to find a life. Jake is in a new club called the Death Rays. I think twins should read this book if their having the same problem as Jake and Lily.

Jake and Lily Wambold are twins. The strangest part of their life is that every year on the night before their birthday, Jake and Lily dream that they sleepwalk to a train station in the middle of the night, in their pajamas. If you have a twin brother or a twin sister, then Jake and Lily is the right novel for you. Leah F Grace School
