  1. I liked Lily in this book. She was my favorite character. I liked when the present exploded, it was funny. I think this book should win the 2012 RI Children's Book Award.

  2. I really thought the book was hilarious, like a comedy. I liked the leprechauns. It's cool that when the leprechauns picked up Lily she turned invisible. I really liked when the box exploded!

I read Green over the summer and I thought it was a really good book because she got kidnapped by leprechauns. She went to a land where people didn’t know about that’s when she had to do the tests. I liked when the she had to do the three tests. One of the tests she had to do was capture a pixey. The other part was when she was at the land she had to steal gold from other leprechaun’s because the leprechaun’s that stole her told her to because it was another test. My least favorite part was when she was at the land she had to steal gold from other leprechaun’s because the leprechaun’s that stole her told her to because it was another test she had to do.

  4. The book Green by Laura Peyton Roberts was a very, very good book. I love the way the author explored the adventures, the shocks, the short romances and much much more. I also think there should be a sequel, or start a series. That would be one series I would read! The best to the author.

  6. One RICBA book that I have read is Green by Laura Peyton Roberts. I thought it was a superb book. I thought it was superb because it included magic. I like reading about magic so it was a very enjoyable. Another reason I liked it was because it had leprechauns. Leprechauns are associated with the Irish. I’m Irish and like being Irish. This made it an enjoyable book. The setting also appealed to me. The setting was in green fields and with interesting houses (which I love). The book was about your average-girl whose fun grandmother died. Then she was kidnapped by leprechauns and taken to their world to be tested for her ability and restraint to guard their gold. The tests are really hard. When trying to complete the last task she ends up in jail (by this part I was totally addicted to the book because it was so interesting). Then she made an amazing jail break that was completely unexpected. The jailbreak was almost impossible. This got me really interested and things just got more interesting from there. All of these reasons are why I LOVED this book!
